23 But the Levites shall do the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations; and among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. 24 For the tithe of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heave-offering unto Jehovah, I have given to the Levites for an inheritance: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.
25 And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

23 It is the Levites who are to do the work at the tent of meeting and bear the responsibility for any offenses they commit against it. This is a lasting ordinance(A) for the generations to come.(B) They will receive no inheritance(C) among the Israelites.(D) 24 Instead, I give to the Levites as their inheritance the tithes that the Israelites present as an offering to the Lord.(E) That is why I said concerning them: ‘They will have no inheritance among the Israelites.’”
25 The Lord said to Moses,
