4 They shall join you and perform the duties of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent; but [a]an unauthorized person shall not come near you. 5 So you shall perform the (A)duties of the sanctuary and the duties of the altar, (B)so that there will no longer be wrath on the sons of Israel. 6 Behold, I Myself (C)have taken your [b]fellow Levites from among the sons of Israel; they are (D)a gift to you, [c]dedicated to the Lord, to perform the service for the tent of meeting.

4 They are to join you and be responsible for the care of the tent of meeting—all the work at the tent—and no one else may come near where you are.(A)
5 “You are to be responsible for the care of the sanctuary and the altar,(B) so that my wrath will not fall on the Israelites again. 6 I myself have selected your fellow Levites from among the Israelites as a gift to you,(C) dedicated to the Lord to do the work at the tent of meeting.(D)

4 And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.
5 And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.
6 And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the Lord, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
