Numbers 19:15-17

15 And all the vessels that be open, which have no [a]covering fastened upon them, shall be unclean.
16 Also whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the field, or a dead person, or a bone of a dead man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
17 Therefore for an unclean person, they shall take of the burnt ashes of the [b]sin offering, and [c]pure water shall be put thereto in a vessel.

New International Version
15 and every open container(A) without a lid fastened on it will be unclean.
16 “Anyone out in the open who touches someone who has been killed with a sword or someone who has died a natural death,(B) or anyone who touches a human bone(C) or a grave,(D) will be unclean for seven days.(E)
17 “For the unclean person, put some ashes(F) from the burned purification offering into a jar and pour fresh water(G) over them.
