17 For the unclean person they will take[a] from the powder of the burnt purification offering,[b] and they will put[c] running water into a container. 18 A clean person will take hyssop and dip it into the water and sprinkle it on the tent and on all the objects and persons who were there, and on one who touched the bone, or the one slain, or the dead, or the burial site. 19 The clean person will spatter the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he will purify him, and he will wash his garments; he will bathe in the waters, and in the evening he will be clean.

17 “For the unclean person, put some ashes(A) from the burned purification offering into a jar and pour fresh water(B) over them. 18 Then a man who is ceremonially clean is to take some hyssop,(C) dip it in the water and sprinkle(D) the tent and all the furnishings and the people who were there. He must also sprinkle anyone who has touched a human bone or a grave(E) or anyone who has been killed or anyone who has died a natural death. 19 The man who is clean is to sprinkle(F) those who are unclean on the third and seventh days, and on the seventh day he is to purify them.(G) Those who are being cleansed must wash their clothes(H) and bathe with water, and that evening they will be clean.
