3 On the (A)east side, toward the rising of the sun, those of the standard of the forces with Judah shall camp according to their armies; and (B)Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be the leader of the children of Judah.” 4 And his army was numbered at seventy-four thousand six hundred.
5 “Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar, and Nethanel the son of Zuar shall be the leader of the children of Issachar.”

3 On the east, toward the sunrise, the divisions of the camp of Judah are to encamp under their standard. The leader of the people of Judah is Nahshon son of Amminadab.(A) 4 His division numbers 74,600.
5 The tribe of Issachar(B) will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar.(C)
