21 and Edom refuseth to suffer Israel to pass over through his border, and Israel turneth aside from off him.
22 And the sons of Israel, the whole company, journey from Kadesh, and come in unto mount Hor,

20 Again they answered:
“You may not pass through.(A)”
Then Edom(B) came out against them with a large and powerful army. 21 Since Edom refused to let them go through their territory,(C) Israel turned away from them.(D)
