⁵The Lord put a word in Balaam’s mouth^(A) and said, “Go back to Balak and give him this word.”^(B)

⁵And the Lord put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus thou shalt speak.

¹²And he answered and said, ^(A)“Must I not take care to speak what the Lord puts in my mouth?”
