21 And he looked on the [a]Kenites, and uttered his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwelling place, and [b]put thy nest in the rock:
22 Nevertheless, [c]the Kenite shall be spoiled, until Asshur carry thee away captive.
23 Again he uttered his parable, and said, Alas, [d]who shall live when God doeth this?

“Your dwelling place is secure,(B)
your nest is set in a rock;
22 yet you Kenites will be destroyed
when Ashur(C) takes you captive.”

23 Then he spoke his message:
“Alas! Who can live when God does this?[a]
