Numbers 26:10-12
New Living Translation

10 But the earth opened up its mouth and swallowed them with Korah, and fire devoured 250 of their followers. This served as a warning to the entire nation of Israel. 11 However, the sons of Korah did not die that day.

12 These were the clans descended from the sons of Simeon:

The Jemuelite clan, named after their ancestor Jemuel.[a]
The Jaminite clan, named after their ancestor Jamin.
The Jakinite clan, named after their ancestor Jakin.

10 The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them(A) along with Korah, whose followers died when the fire devoured the 250 men.(B) And they served as a warning sign.(C) 11 The line of Korah,(D) however, did not die out.(E)

12 The descendants of Simeon by their clans were:

through Nemuel,(F) the Nemuelite clan;

through Jamin,(G) the Jaminite clan;

through Jakin, the Jakinite clan;
