61 (A)But Nadab and Abihu died when they offered unauthorized fire before the Lord. 62 And those listed were (B)23,000, every male from a month old and upwards. For (C)they were not listed among the people of Israel, because (D)there was no inheritance given to them among the people of Israel.
63 These were those listed by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who listed the people of Israel (E)in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.

62 All the male Levites a month old or more numbered 23,000.(C) They were not counted(D) along with the other Israelites because they received no inheritance(E) among them.(F)
63 These are the ones counted(G) by Moses and Eleazar the priest when they counted the Israelites on the plains of Moab(H) by the Jordan across from Jericho.(I)
