61 But Nadab and Abihu died when they offered unholy fire before the Lord.(A) 62 The number of those enrolled was twenty-three thousand, every male one month old and up, for they were not enrolled among the Israelites because there was no allotment given to them among the Israelites.(B)
63 These were those enrolled by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who enrolled the Israelites in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.

61 But Nadab and Abihu(A) died when they made an offering before the Lord with unauthorized fire.)(B)
62 All the male Levites a month old or more numbered 23,000.(C) They were not counted(D) along with the other Israelites because they received no inheritance(E) among them.(F)
63 These are the ones counted(G) by Moses and Eleazar the priest when they counted the Israelites on the plains of Moab(H) by the Jordan across from Jericho.(I)

62 And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.
63 These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
