¹⁶ Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,

¹⁰ In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

⁸ For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?

⁴ The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
