Sabbath Offerings

⁹ “‘On the Sabbath^(A) day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect,^(B) together with its drink offering and a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah^[a](C) of the finest flour mixed with olive oil.^(D)

¹⁰ This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath,^(A) in addition to the regular burnt offering^(B) and its drink offering.

²² Yet, because Moses gave you circumcision^(A) (though actually it did not come from Moses, but from the patriarchs),^(B) you circumcise a boy on the Sabbath.

²³ Now if a boy can be circumcised on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses may not be broken, why are you angry with me for healing a man’s whole body on the Sabbath?
