5 You must also offer a goat[a] as a sacrifice for sin. 6 These sacrifices will be made in addition to the regular daily sacrifices[b] and the sacrifices for the first day of the month.[c] The smoke from these sacrifices will please me.

The Lord said:
7 (A) The tenth day of the seventh month[d] is the Great Day of Forgiveness.[e] On that day you must rest from all work and come together for worship. Show sorrow for your sins by going without food,

5 Include one male goat(A) as a sin offering[a] to make atonement for you. 6 These are in addition to the monthly(B) and daily burnt offerings(C) with their grain offerings(D) and drink offerings(E) as specified. They are food offerings presented to the Lord, a pleasing aroma.(F)
