31 Their responsibility was to be the ark, the table, the lampstand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary with which the priests minister, and the screen—all the service pertaining to these. 32 Eleazar son of Aaron the priest was to be chief over the leaders of the Levites, and to have oversight of those who had charge of the sanctuary.
33 To Merari belonged the clan of the Mahlites and the clan of the Mushites: these are the clans of Merari.

31 They were responsible for the care of the ark,(A) the table,(B) the lampstand,(C) the altars,(D) the articles(E) of the sanctuary used in ministering, the curtain,(F) and everything related to their use.(G) 32 The chief leader of the Levites was Eleazar(H) son of Aaron, the priest. He was appointed over those who were responsible(I) for the care of the sanctuary.(J)
33 To Merari belonged the clans of the Mahlites and the Mushites;(K) these were the Merarite clans.(L)
