7 They are to take care of his needs and the needs of the whole congregation at the Tent of Meeting by performing duties[a] at the tent. 8 They are to take charge of the utensils at the Tent of Meeting and meet the needs of the Israelis by performing duties on behalf of the tent. 9 Assign[b] the descendants of Levi to Aaron and his sons from among the Israelis.

7 They are to perform duties for him and for the whole community(A) at the tent of meeting by doing the work(B) of the tabernacle. 8 They are to take care of all the furnishings of the tent of meeting, fulfilling the obligations of the Israelites by doing the work of the tabernacle. 9 Give the Levites to Aaron and his sons;(C) they are the Israelites who are to be given wholly to him.[a]
