8 They killed the kings of Midian, in addition to the rest of those who were killed: Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian. Balaam the son of Beor they also killed with the sword. 9 The children of Israel returned with the women of Midian and their children and took their livestock, and all their flocks, and all their wealth for plunder. 10 They burned with fire all their cities in which they lived and all their camps.

8 Among their victims were Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur and Reba(A)—the five kings of Midian.(B) They also killed Balaam son of Beor(C) with the sword.(D) 9 The Israelites captured the Midianite women(E) and children and took all the Midianite herds, flocks and goods as plunder.(F) 10 They burned(G) all the towns where the Midianites had settled, as well as all their camps.(H)
