They traveled from Rameses on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the day after the Passover the people of Israel started out strong in heart in front of all the Egyptians. The Egyptians were burying all their first-born whom the Lord had killed among them. The Lord had punished their gods also.

Then the people of Israel traveled from Rameses and stayed in Succoth.

The Israelites set out(A) from Rameses(B) on the fifteenth day of the first month, the day after the Passover.(C) They marched out defiantly(D) in full view of all the Egyptians, who were burying all their firstborn,(E) whom the Lord had struck down among them; for the Lord had brought judgment(F) on their gods.(G)

The Israelites left Rameses and camped at Sukkoth.(H)
