2 Command the Israelites to give, from the inheritance that they possess, towns for the Levites to live in; you shall also give to the Levites pasture lands surrounding the towns. 3 The towns shall be theirs to live in, and their pasture lands shall be for their cattle, for their livestock, and for all their animals. 4 The pasture lands of the towns, which you shall give to the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the town outwards a thousand cubits all around.

2 “Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in(A) from the inheritance the Israelites will possess. And give them pasturelands(B) around the towns. 3 Then they will have towns to live in and pasturelands for the cattle they own and all their other animals.(C)
4 “The pasturelands around the towns that you give the Levites will extend a thousand cubits[a] from the town wall.
