¹⁴ and if a feeling of jealousy comes over the husband and he becomes jealous because of his wife who has defiled herself—or if a feeling of jealousy comes over him and he becomes jealous of her though she has not defiled herself—

² On that day”—this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts—“I will erase the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered. I will remove the prophets^[a] and the unclean spirit from the land.

⁷ For God has not given us a spirit^[a] of fearfulness,^(A) but one of power,^(B) love,^(C) and sound judgment.
