During his entire vow of separation no razor is to pass over his head, until the time that he has separated himself to the Lord has been completed. He will be set apart as holy. He is to let the hair of his head grow long.

During the entire time that he separates himself to the Lord he may not go near a dead body.

“‘During the entire period of their Nazirite vow, no razor(A) may be used on their head.(B) They must be holy until the period of their dedication to the Lord is over; they must let their hair grow long.

“‘Throughout the period of their dedication to the Lord, the Nazirite must not go near a dead body.(C)
