¹⁰ “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If anyone of you or your ^[a]posterity is unclean because of a corpse, or is far away on a journey, he may still keep the Lord’s Passover.

¹³ But the man who is clean and is not on a journey, and ceases to keep the Passover, that same person ^(A)shall be cut off from among his people, because he ^(B)did not bring the offering of the Lord at its appointed time; that man shall ^(C)bear his sin.

¹⁹ And as for you, ^(A)remain outside the camp seven days; whoever has killed any person, and ^(B)whoever has touched any slain, purify yourselves and your captives on the third day and on the seventh day.

²⁰ Purify every garment, everything made of leather, everything woven of goats’ hair, and everything made of wood.”

¹⁷ For there were many in the assembly who had not ^[a]sanctified themselves; ^(A)therefore the Levites had charge of the slaughter of the Passover lambs for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to the Lord.
