So why were you not afraid
To speak against My servant, against Moses?”

⁴ I will incline my ear to ^(A)a proverb;
^(B)I will ^[a]express my ^(C)riddle on the harp.

² I will ^(A)open my mouth in a parable;
I will tell ^(B)riddles of old,

²³ And in the latter period of their ^[a]dominion,
When the wrongdoers have ^[b]run their course,
A king will arise,
^[c]Insolent and skilled in ^[d]intrigue.
