⁶ from the tribe of Judah, ^(A)Caleb the son of Jephunneh;

³⁰ Then Caleb quieted the people ^[a]before Moses and said, “We should by all means go up and take possession of it, for we will certainly prevail over it.”

⁶⁵ For the Lord had said ^[a]of them, “^(A)They shall certainly die in the wilderness.” And not a man was left of them, ^(B)except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.

³⁶ except Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and ^(A)to him I will give the land on which he has set foot, and to his sons, because he has followed the Lord fully.’
