³³ Then they turned and went up the road to Bashan, and Og king of Bashan^(A) came out against them with his whole army to do battle at Edrei.^(B)

³⁵ So they struck him, his sons, and his whole army until no one was left,^[a] and they took possession of his land.^(A)

⁴ This was after he had defeated Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, who lived in Ashtaroth, at Edrei.^(A)

¹⁰ all the cities of the plateau, Gilead, and Bashan as far as Salecah and Edrei, cities of Og’s kingdom in Bashan.^(A)
