⁸ But as for me, I am like a ^(A)green olive tree in the house of God;
I ^(B)trust in the faithfulness of God forever and ever.

^7 [a]May the ^(A)righteous flourish in his days,
As well as an ^(B)abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.

⁸ For he will be like a ^(A)tree planted by the water
That extends its roots by a stream,
And does not fear when the heat comes;
But its leaves will be green,
And it will not be anxious in a year of ^(B)drought,
Nor cease to yield fruit.

⁵ I will be like the ^(A)dew to Israel;
He will blossom like the ^(B)lily,
And he will ^[a]take root like the cedars of ^(C)Lebanon.
⁶ His shoots will ^[b]sprout,
His ^[c]majesty will be like the ^(D)olive tree,
And his fragrance like the cedars of ^(E)Lebanon.
