The Tribes Settling East of the Jordan^(A)

32 Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock; and when they saw the land of ^(B)Jazer and the land of ^(C)Gilead, that indeed the region was a place for livestock,

⁵ and reigned over ^(A)Mount Hermon, ^(B)over Salcah, over all Bashan, ^(C)as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and over half of Gilead to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
