³ You shall put out both male and female, putting them outside the camp, that they may not defile their camp, ^(A)in the midst of which I dwell.”

¹³ Whoever touches a dead person, the body of anyone who has died, and does not cleanse himself, ^(A)defiles the tabernacle of the Lord, ^(B)and that person shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not thrown on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is still on him.

²⁰ “If the man who is unclean does not cleanse himself, ^(A)that person shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, since he has defiled the sanctuary of the Lord. Because the water for impurity has not been thrown on him, he is unclean.

¹¹ Therefore, ^(A)as I live, declares the Lord God, surely, ^(B)because you have defiled my sanctuary ^(C)with all your detestable things and with all your ^(D)abominations, ^(E)therefore I will withdraw.^{[a] (F)}My eye will not spare, and I will have no pity.

³⁸ Moreover, this they have done to me: ^(A)they have defiled my sanctuary on the same day and ^(B)profaned my Sabbaths.
