1599 Geneva Bible
14 [a]Do all things without (A)murmuring and reasonings,
15 [b]That ye may be blameless, and pure, and the sons of God without rebuke in the midst of a naughty and crooked nation, among whom ye shine as (B)lights in the world,
16 Holding forth the [c]word of life, [d]that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither have labored in vain.

New International Version
14 Do everything without grumbling(A) or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless(B) and pure, “children of God(C) without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”[a](D) Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ(E) that I did not run(F) or labor in vain.(G)
