¹⁹But I hope, ^[a]in the Lord Jesus, to ^(A)send ^(B)Timothy to you shortly, so that I also may be encouraged when I learn of your condition.

¹⁹I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy^(A) to you soon,^(B) that I also may be cheered when I receive news about you.

3 Therefore, ^(A)when we could no longer endure it, we thought it best to be left behind, alone at ^(B)Athens,
