²³ Now may the God of peace^(A) Himself sanctify you completely. And may your spirit,^(B) soul, and body be kept sound and blameless for the coming^(C) of our Lord^(D) Jesus Christ.^(E)

²⁷ Pure and undefiled religion before our^[a] God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows^(A) in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world.^(B)
