⁹ You have handed us over to our enemies, lawless and hateful rebels,
    and to an unjust king, the most wicked in all the world.^(A)
10 And now we cannot open our mouths;
    we, your servants who worship you, bear shame and reproach.^(B)
11 For your name’s sake do not give us up forever,
    and do not annul your covenant.^(C)
