Proverbs 1:24-25
New King James Version
24 (A)Because I have called and you refused,
I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,
25 Because you (B)disdained all my counsel,
And would have none of my rebuke,
Proverbs 1:27-31
New King James Version
27 When (A)your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.
28 “Then(B) they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.
29 Because they (C)hated knowledge
And did not (D)choose the fear of the Lord,
30 (E)They would have none of my counsel
And despised my every rebuke.
31 Therefore (F)they shall eat the fruit of their own way,
And be filled to the full with their own fancies.
Proverbs 1:27-31
New American Standard Bible
27 When your dread comes like a storm
And your disaster comes like a (A)whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.
28 Then they will (B)call on me, but I will not answer;
They will (C)seek me diligently but will not find me,
29 Because they (D)hated knowledge
And did not choose the fear of the Lord.
30 They (E)did not accept my advice,
They disdainfully rejected every rebuke from me.
31 So they shall (F)eat of the fruit of their own way,
And be (G)filled with their own schemes.
