Proverbs 10:29-31

²⁹The Lord protects honest people, but destroys those who do wrong.

³⁰Righteous people will always have security, but the wicked will not survive in the land.

³¹Righteous people speak wisdom, but the tongue that speaks evil will be stopped.

Proverbs 10:29-31

New International Version

²⁹The way of the Lord is a refuge for the blameless,
but it is the ruin of those who do evil.^(A)

³⁰The righteous will never be uprooted,
but the wicked will not remain in the land.^(B)

³¹From the mouth of the righteous comes the fruit of wisdom,^(C)
but a perverse tongue^(D) will be silenced.
