³⁰ The king began speaking and was saying, ‘Is this not Babylon the ^(A)great, which I myself have built as a royal ^[a]residence by the might of my power and for the honor of my majesty?’ ³¹ While the word was still in the king’s mouth, a voice ^[b]came from heaven, saying, ‘King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is declared: ^[c]sovereignty has been removed from you,

^12 (A)Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.

⁶ But ^(A)He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “^(B)God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
