⁸^(A)It is better to have a little, honestly earned, than to have a large income, dishonestly gained.

⁹You may make your plans, but God directs your actions.

¹⁰The king speaks with divine authority; his decisions are always right.

Proverbs 16:8-10

⁸Better a little with righteousness
than much gain^(A) with injustice.^(B)

⁹In their hearts humans plan their course,
but the Lord establishes their steps.^(C)

¹⁰The lips of a king speak as an oracle,
and his mouth does not betray justice.^(D)
