Fatherly Admonition

¹⁴ I am not writing this to make you ashamed but to admonish you as my beloved children.

¹⁵ For though you might have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers. Indeed, in Christ Jesus I fathered you through the gospel.^(A)

²⁴ Do not seek your own advantage but that of the other.^(A)

³³ just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage but that of many, so that they may be saved.^(A)

13 This is the third time I am coming to you. “Any charge must be sustained by the evidence of two or three witnesses.”^(A)
