Proverbs 19:17

¹⁷One who ^(A)is gracious to a poor person lends to the Lord,
And He will repay him for his ^[a]^(B)good deed.

Proverbs 19:17

New International Version

¹⁷Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord,^(A)
and he will reward them for what they have done.^(B)

⁸One who increases his wealth by ^[a]^(A)interest of any kind,
Collects it ^(B)for one who is gracious to the poor.

⁸Whoever increases wealth by taking interest^(A) or profit from the poor
amasses it for another,^(B) who will be kind to the poor.^(C)
