Proverbs 19:9

New International Version

⁹A false witness will not go unpunished,
and whoever pours out lies will perish.^(A)

Proverbs 19:9

King James Version

⁹A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.

¹⁹then do to the false witness as that witness intended to do to the other party.^(A) You must purge the evil from among you.

¹⁹Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

²⁸A false witness^(A) will perish,^(B)
but a careful listener will testify successfully.
