Proverbs 28:18-20

18 Anyone who leads a blameless life will be safe,
but whoever follows a crooked path will fall into the pit.
19 One who tills his land will not lack for food,
but he who chases fantasies[a] will live in poverty.
20 One who is trustworthy will abound with blessings,[b]
but no one who seeks to get rich quickly will go unpunished.

18 The one whose walk is blameless is kept safe,(A)
but the one whose ways are perverse will fall(B) into the pit.[a]
19 Those who work their land will have abundant food,

20 A faithful person will be richly blessed,
but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.(D)
