Proverbs 3:34

³⁴Though ^(A)He scoffs at the scoffers,
Yet ^(B)He gives grace to the needy.

Proverbs 3:34

³⁴He mocks^(A) proud mockers^(B)
but shows favor to the humble^(C) and oppressed.

⁶But ^(A)He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “^(B)God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

⁶But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.”^[a]^(A)
