Psalm 1:2-4
The Voice
2 For you, the Eternal’s Word is your happiness.
It is your focus—from dusk to dawn.
3 You are like a tree,
planted by flowing, cool streams of water that never run dry.
Your fruit ripens in its time;
your leaves never fade or curl in the summer sun.
No matter what you do, you prosper.
4 For those who focus on sin, the story is different.
They are like the fallen husk of wheat, tossed by an open wind, left deserted and alone.
Psalm 1:2-4
New International Version
2 but whose delight(A) is in the law of the Lord,(B)
and who meditates(C) on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree(D) planted by streams(E) of water,(F)
which yields its fruit(G) in season
and whose leaf(H) does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.(I)
4 Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff(J)
that the wind blows away.
Psalm 1:2-4
King James Version
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
