Holman Christian Standard Bible

3 I will not set anything worthless before my eyes.
I hate the practice of transgression;
it will not cling to me.(A)
4 A devious heart will be far from me;
I will not be involved with[a] evil.(B)

5 I will destroy anyone
who secretly slanders his neighbor;(C)
I cannot tolerate anyone
with haughty eyes or an arrogant heart.(D)

I hate what faithless people do;(B)
    I will have no part in it.
4 The perverse of heart(C) shall be far from me;
    I will have nothing to do with what is evil.

5 Whoever slanders their neighbor(D) in secret,
    I will put to silence;
whoever has haughty eyes(E) and a proud heart,
    I will not tolerate.
