New International Version

¹⁶He called down famine^(A) on the land
and destroyed all their supplies of food;

¹¹Now ^(A)there came a famine throughout all Egypt and Canaan, and great affliction, and our fathers could find no food.

¹¹“Then a famine struck all Egypt and Canaan, bringing great suffering, and our ancestors could not find food.^(A)
