⁴³ Let the one who is wise^(A) heed these things
    and ponder the loving deeds^(B) of the Lord.

¹¹ “I will make Jerusalem a heap^(A) of ruins,
    a haunt of jackals;^(B)
and I will lay waste the towns of Judah^(C)
    so no one can live there.”^(D)

    Who knows the explanation of things?
A person’s wisdom brightens their face
    and changes its hard appearance.
