¹²Give us aid against the enemy,
for human help is worthless.^(A)

¹²Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

²²Stop trusting in mere humans,^(A)
who have but a breath^(B) in their nostrils.
Why hold them in esteem?^(C)
