3 If the (A)foundations are destroyed,
What can the righteous do?”

4 The Lord is in His (B)holy temple; the [a]Lord’s (C)throne is in heaven;
His (D)eyes see, His eyelids test the sons of mankind.
5 The Lord (E)tests the righteous and (F)the wicked,
And His soul hates one who loves violence.
