Psalm 11:3-5 Living Bible (TLB)

“Law and order have collapsed,”[a] we are told. “What can the righteous do but flee?”

But the Lord is still in his holy temple; he still rules from heaven. He closely watches everything that happens here on earth. He puts the righteous and the wicked to the test; he hates those loving violence.

Psalm 11:3-5 New International Version (NIV)

When the foundations are being destroyed,
    what can the righteous do?”

The Lord is in his holy temple;
    the Lord is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
    his eyes examine them.
The Lord examines the righteous,
    but the wicked, those who love violence,
    he hates with a passion.
