⁹He distributes freely to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever.^(A)

Psalm 112:9

New International Version

⁹They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,^(A)
their righteousness endures^(B) forever;
their horn^[a] will be lifted^(C) high in honor.

¹⁷And the world with its lust is passing away,^(A) but the one who does God’s will^(B) remains forever.^(C)

¹⁷The world and its desires pass away,^(A) but whoever does the will of God^(B) lives forever.
