For the Lord has ^(B)dealt generously with you.

⁷Return to your rest,^(A) my soul,
for the Lord has been good^(B) to you.

¹²He who said to them, “This is the ^(A)place of quiet, give rest to the weary,”
And, “This is the resting place,” but they would not listen.

¹²to whom he said,
“This is the resting place, let the weary rest”;^(A)
and, “This is the place of repose”—
but they would not listen.
